Partnership for the Sounds Presents Nature Photography Seminar with Sol Levine



COLUMBIA, NC- The Partnership for the Sounds will host a Nature Photography Seminar with photographer Sol Levine in Columbia on Saturday, April 24.  The seminar will be held in the Outdoor Classroom on the Scuppernong River Trail from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and will include a short boat trip for picture taking on the Scuppernong River if weather permits.

The cost for the seminar is $50; pre-registration and pre-payment are necessary, so call 252-796-1000 to register.  Please bring a bag lunch. Participants will meet at Tyrrell County Visitor's Center prior to 10 a.m. and take a short walk down the boardwalk to the Outdoor Classrooom. Sol Levine is a professional photographer who has exhibited and taught at a number of nature events, including the recent Wildlife Arts Festival in Washington.  The seminar will focus on getting the most from your equipment while keeping costs to a minimum.  Compositional pointers, close ups in nature, and types of film and digital cameras will also be discussed.  Each student also receives an informative booklet. The seminar is open to everyone, beginners or professionals, teens and seniors- anyone with a camera who wants to improve their skills.
